An Important Regency Giltwood Convex Mirror
A large and important Regency period convex mirror retaining its original mirror plate, enclosed within a deep moulded frame with interspaced balls and stars, and a surround of carved flower heads with carved circles, the carved sides with twin candle-arms with carved nozzles and drip pans, below an acanthus leaf apron, the pediment of a superbly carved eagle holding a snake and with outstretched wings perched on a rockery.
