A rare Chinese armchair made of rosewood in the English taste having a yoked crest rail centered with double shells with a solid central splat with a molded and recessed central section banded by a carved molding with carved arms and supports, a drop in seat, the front rail carved with a central shell, with carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. Ht. 45”, Seat ht. 19”, Width 27 1/2”, Depth 26 3/4”
