Mahogany open armchair having a solid, cartouche shaped back with shepherd's crook arms, a drop in, needlepoint seat with veneered rails resting on carved cabriole legs, the front legs having carved shells on the knees and terminating in ball and claw feet. Circa 1745. Ex-coll., J.J. Wolff (Antiques) Ltd. 1978. Ht. 36 1/2", W. 23", D. 21 1/4" Needlepoint circa 1920.
