A fine and unusual small pair of Chinese court scenes having the same but reversed, backgrounds with all the symbols, from the finial on the hat to the boots, the collar, sleeves and dragons on the dress, found in ancestor paintings, the gouaches placed within a contemporary Chinoiserie frame.
