SATINWOOD DEMI-LUNE CARD TABLES c. 1775

A very fine pair of satinwood demilune card tables circa 1775 having inlaid and banded tops over a plain banded frieze and banded square tapered legs, the back left legs on each table with knuckle joints allowing the leg to swing out and support the top. In the manner of John Linnell, the interiors, banded with baize. The subtle beauty of these tables resides in their exceptional timber and the fine quality tulipwood inlay.
